Understanding how data analytics, business intelligence, and information systems support recruitment strategies are primary areas of responsibility.
The Associate Director is responsible for developing, customizing, managing, and maintaining the CRM for the Undergraduate Office of Admissions.
This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule (a weekly schedule including in-person and remote workdays).
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Some of the major responsibilities include:
Manage and maintain Admissions CRM (Slate) and all relevant integrations for the Undergraduate Office of Admissions.
Supervise one direct report who specializes in CRM operations.
Demonstrate proficiency in building queries and reports in Slate.
Support recruitment efforts by understanding the data maintained in Slate, Jenzabar, and third-party vendors and preserve the integrity of data.
Collaborate with Marketing & Communications to schedule recurring communications and evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns through reports.
Build and maintain student portals and forms to ensure a positive user experience throughout the application and enrollment cycle.
Lead the annual application update process and cycle prep, ensuring optimal functioning of the admissions application for all stakeholders.
Maintain the Slate data dictionary, reporting standards, and standard operating procedures.
Interpret data findings and present to admissions leadership.
Train admissions staff on operations and best practices within Slate.
Be an active member of the Slate community, including attending webinars and other professional development opportunities.
Minor responsibilities may include:
Assist with general administrative responsibilities for the Admissions Office Keep current on all aspects of MSMU, especially academic, social, religious, and athletic programs, and events.
Along with other Admissions Officers, work as a team player to develop and implement new strategies to attract sufficient applicants.
Assist other team members where applicable, including covering areas or duties not initially assigned.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Admissions.
Job Requirements:
Education, Experience and Skills:
The appointed individual:
Has a bachelor's degree with good communication and interpersonal skills.
Has 2-4 years of applicable experience in higher education or technology, with preference given to current Slate users.
Can demonstrate an understanding of how to report data and identify actionable data to help increase enrollment.
Consistently exercises sound judgment, demonstrate ethical conduct, and the ability to work independently and in a team setting.
Must have ability to work under pressure in a demanding academic environment.
Ideal candidates will be flexible, creative, and energetic.
The ability to establish effective working procedures and systems is essential.
Can relate to and work well with a variety of people and work well both independently and as part of a team.
Has a commitment to and advocates for diversity, inclusion and representation within the Admissions office and processes.
Can articulate the values of a liberal arts education in the Catholic tradition.
